Upper School Spirit Week ~ Next Week!
February 8th - 11th is Spirit Week 2021 for the Upper School and that means unusual and entertaining sights will abound on our campus! Students in grades 6 – 12 have the option to bedeck (and maybe even bedazzle) themselves according to the theme of the day, or they may come to school in their regular uniform clothes. The standards for modesty, as stated in the student handbook, still apply for those dressing in costume.
Looking forward to a fun week full of school spirit!
Lower school families: Please note that on Thursday, February 11th, the lower school will be celebrating Valentine's Day and students will have the opportunity to show wear their favorite Valentine's Day apparel. Usually, this Blue & Gold Day of Spirit Week is a school-wide event.
Westminster Preview Day
Do you know of families interested in learning more about WCA? Then help us spread the word about our next admissions preview event being held next Tuesday, February 9th beginning at 9 am. SAT @ WCA - Y/N Response Needed
April 27th for 10th and 11th Grade Students

The SAT will be given to 10th and 11th graders at WCA on Tuesday, April 27th. Parents will need to opt in or out for their child to take or not take the SAT by February 19th. Students are known to test better in a familiar and comfortable setting, and we are glad to be able to offer this option to our families.
Please follow this link to indicate SAT testing preference or the one included in the email sent to parents today. The cost for testing is $52 and will be billed to FACTS account after testing. Please contact Kelly Cole with any questions you might have.
High School Class Registration Deadline
Open for Current Grades 7th through 11th
All current high school students grades 7 through 11 need to complete their online class registration this week. The deadline to register for classes is this Friday, February 5th. Please know that you must be re enrolled to register for classes. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Cole - kcole@wcalions.org.
Covering WCA in Prayer
Have you wanted to participate in the weekly parent prayer time but haven't been able to make it? Well, there a new opportunity every week and your presence would be welcome! All WCA Parents are invited to join in a time of prayer on Thursday mornings - Tech Lab 7:35 until 8 am - right before the school day begins. This is an opportunity for us to come together to pray for our families, school, and country. Please join us!
2020-2021 Yearbook
Do you still need to place an order?
The yearbook order deadline is coming up on February 26th and if you still need to place an order, below is the link.
Jostens - WCA Online Yearbook Order
Yearbooks must be ordered in advance and are not typically available for last minute purchase. The cost is $70 per yearbook and for your convenience, Jostens offers a split payment option at checkout if desired.
Lunch Bunch & After School Sign-Up
Parents needing to send their student(s) to LunchBunch and/or AfterSchool, please remember that you need to pre-register by following the directions outlined below:
- Click the link: Lunch Bunch & After School Registration
- Click the date your child will need to attend. If your child will attend every day of the month, or the same days each week, you may select "repeats" and choose daily or weekly. If Lunch Bunch or After School reach max capacity, you will see a red message that says "FULL" on the day.
- Click on the "Calendar" box and select "LB/AS SIGN UP"
- Type student name(s) into the "Who" box
- Type LB for Lunch Bunch, AS for After School or LB/AS for Both
