Senior Night BlackOut

Class Attendance Competition for Friday's Home Games

Friday night is Winter Sports Senior Night and we're celebrating with a fan BlackOut!  All seniors participating in winter sports will be recognized between the girls and boys varsity basketball games.

Additionally, there will be a class competition at the games Friday night.  The class with the most students in attendance will receive a dress down day ~ date selected by Coach Crouse (middle and high) and Mrs. Rasmussen (lower school).  Come support the Lions and our Seniors!  It is a BlackOut, so be sure to wear black and check in at the gate so that your class gets credit!

As we go through our days, please remember to keep the following WCA family in your prayers. Also, please email Tami Butts (tbutts@wcalions.org) with updated and/or new prayer requests.  It is an honor to pray for each other.

Please be in prayer for the Mauldin family - Brett, Candice, Bankston (6th), Morgan (3rd) and GrayAnn (1st).  Brett's parents, Larry and Angela Mauldin of Lake Oconee, have been seriously injured in a  car accident this week.  Brett's father has been able to go home but is facing a long recovery period involving rehab.  Brett's mother is still in ICU and having cardiac issues.  This is complicating the intensive spinal rehabilitation she is facing to determine her future mobility.  Prayers for healing, wisdom and discernment for all are much appreciated.

Please be in prayer for the Clark family - Jared, Sara, Avery (12th), Aubrey (9th) and Abby (class of 2021).  Jared's parents were in a serious, head-on collision  on Tuesday afternoon near their home in Blairsville Georgia.  This week has had it's ups and downs but both of Jared's parents have been moved to a shared room in the step-down ICU in Gainesville and are making good progress.  They are undergoing physical therapy as they continue to gain strength before going to rehab.  Prayers for continued healing and regaining of strength are greatly appreciated.

Both of these families need our prayers as they help their parents manage the healing process while trying to maintain their responsibilities.

Prayer requests are included here at the request, or with the permission of the family.
