Show Us your colors!

Does your favorite team wear the preferred red and black? Orange? Garnet? Or Red only?  Whatever your preference, College Colors Day is a time to celebrate them all!

This Friday, September 4th, we celebrate the coming kick-off of college football season with our annual College Colors Day. All members of the student body (preK - 12) are encouraged to show us your college team colors from head to toe.

Please know that college colors clothing should follow Casual Friday or Spirit Wear Day guidelines and for this day, lower school students are not required to wear uniform bottoms.

Looking forward to seeing our colorful student body Friday!

New Head Coach for the Diamond Lions

We are excited to announce the hiring of Kevin Renz as the new head baseball coach for WCA.  Coach Renz started his baseball career in Texas, and after playing at Sam Houston State, he was drafted by the Chicago White Sox.  Coach Renz was also a member of the 1984 Olympic Baseball team. He has been in coaching at various schools in the Gwinnett area for the past 30 years as well as operating Renz Baseball Academy.  All interested baseball parents and players are welcome to come meet Coach Renz at 7:00 pm on Thursday September the 10th in the WCA gym.

Weekly Parents Time of Prayer

All WCA Parents are invited to join in a time of prayer on Thursday mornings, right before the school day begins.  This is an opportunity for us to come together to pray for our families, school, and country.

This time of prayer will be held each Thursday morning beginning September 10th, in the tech lab located in the Administrative building, from 7:25 until 7:50.  If you can only come one time - that's great!  Every other week - perfect!  Once a month - yes!  Everyone is welcome.  Please join us!

Senior Parents

For members of the Class of 2021, it's time to begin the college admissions process and this usually creates a lot of questions for both students and parents.  Kelly Cole, WCA Director of Academics, is available to meet with seniors and their parents to answer your specific questions about the college admissions process and what it looks like during this COVID year.  Please have your student arrange a meeting with Mrs. Cole, or contact her directly, kcole@wcalions.org.

PSAT @ WCA - Is your student testing?

We will be administering the PSAT for 8th - 11th grade students on October, 29th.  This is a new date due to changes by the College Board.

Please let Mrs. Cole know (kcole@wcalions.org) IF YOU DO NOT WANT your child to test by September 9th.  Testing will follow social distancing guidelines set by Westminster and be on the Westminster campus.  Thursday, October 29th is an early release day.  Cost for testing is $15 for 8th and 9th grade students and $20 for 10th and 11th grade students and will be billed through FACTS.

Lunch Bunch & After School Sign-Up
