Fall Break 2020 ~ It's Here!
Whether you are staying in town or headed on an adventure, WCA's Fall Break begins tomorrow! There will be no school on the 8th, 9th,12th and 13th, with school resuming on Wednesday, October 14th. We are so blessed to have completed eight weeks in school, on campus, but it is also a great time for some well deserved downtime. We hope this is a great time to relax and enjoy being with your family!
GAPPS Varsity Volleyball Region Tournament @ WCA
WCA has the honor of hosting the GAPPS Varsity Volleyball Regional Tournament tomorrow, Thursday, October 8th. Our Lady Lions will play at 4pm against Lanier Christian Academy. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for non-WCA students. Please know that there are no admission fees charged for WCA faculty, staff and students. So if you're still in town, join us to cheer on our Lions!
Literary Competition - Sign Ups Now Open!
With everything from singing, dramatic interpretation to extemporaneous speaking, Literary is a 14 event competition with many opportunities for our talented students to shine! The Literary event happens in the spring, but now is the time to sign up. Please let Mrs. Kelly Cole know if you have any questions about any event. Winter Sports Physicals
Winter sports are starting soon but is your student athlete ready? If you have a student that will be playing basketball or swimming, don't forget that they must have a current physical form completed and on file to be eligible to participate. The physical form may be accessed by following this link - WCA Sports Physical Form. Completed forms may be turned in to Mrs. Boswell in the school office. Questions? Lower School Fall Festival ~ Volunteers Needed
On Friday, October 30th, WCA will hold a Lower School Fall Festival from 9 until 11 am. This morning of fun will be followed by an early dismissal at 11:30 for all lower school students. Please know that there will be after school available following dismissal on this day for those who need it. Parents will need to pre-registration the week before (details to come).
We do need a few parent volunteers to assist with the Fall Festival. If you would like to help with this event, please follow the link below to sign up.

Picture Retake Day
Was your student's hair not quite right or did they miss the first picture day altogether? You've got a second chance with school picture retake day coming up on Wednesday, October 21st. Anyone who missed picture day or would like a retake should plan to have pictures taken on this day. If you ordered pictures, but would still like a retake, then you will need to send the pictures to school with your child. Questions? Contact Tollie Ediger (tediger@wcalions.org).
Admissions Preview Day
Westminster is holding our next admissions preview event on Tuesday, October 20th beginning at 9 am in the administrative building.
If you know of families who are interested in learning more about who we are, please help us spread the word! This is a great opportunity to learn about the unique mission of Westminster, meet our amazing faculty and staff and tour our campus.

Teacher Appreciation Committee ~ Donate Today!
WCA is blessed to have an amazing and dedicated faculty and one of the important functions of the parents' association is their work making our teachers feel appreciated.
The teacher's appreciation committee is currently planning for the year and are in need of donations and volunteers. They would like to ask families to prayerfully consider donating $15 towards the fund. This money goes directly towards the committees events which includes providing meals and food for the teachers consistently throughout the year. Lunch Bunch & After School Sign-Up
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are limiting the number of students who attend the Lunch Bunch and After School programs. Parents are asked to register a week in advance by following the link and instructions below.
- Click the link: Lunch Bunch & After School Registration
- Click the date your child will need to attend. If your child will attend every day of the month, or the same days each week, you may select "repeats" and choose daily or weekly. If Lunch Bunch or After School reach max capacity, you will see a red message that says "FULL" on the day.
- Click on the "Calendar" box and select "LB/AS SIGN UP"
- Type student name(s) into the "Who" box
- Type LB for Lunch Bunch, AS for After School or LB/AS for Both
