WCA Schedule & UGA National Championship Game
With a thrilling victory on New Years Eve, our Georgia Bulldogs will be playing in the national championship game and we're going to do our part to help cheer them on! This is another historic event for our community, and we want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy this experience with their families. Here's what you need to know:
Monday, January 9th
- Red and Black day at WCA: Wear your favorite UGA fan gear and help us turn our campus red and black in preparation for the big game.
Tuesday, January 10th
- Delayed Start: All grades levels will begin school at 9:15 on Tuesday, January 10th to allow everyone to fully enjoy the National Championship game experience. **If the delayed start creates an inconvenience for your family due to your work schedule, please contact your child's principal so that we can assist you with alternative arrangements.**
- Red and Black Day Part Deux? If the Bulldogs defeat TCU and are National Champions, pull out your favorite UGA fan gear again, and wear it to school to celebrate this momentous occasion!
MLK Holiday
Westminster will be closed on Monday, January 16th in observation and honor of Martin Luther King Day. School will resume normal operations on Tuesday, January 17th.
Father Daughter Dance
Pull out your poodle skirt, grab your hair gel or just plan to show up in your traditional Father/Daughter Dance attire . We will be rocking around the clock on February 11th from 6:30 – 9:00 pm. This is a special evening for our WCA dads and daughters. Tickets will go on sale January 25th and more information will be coming in the next few weeks.

Re-Enrollment Opening Soon
Westminster will be opening our re-enrollment period for the 2023-2024 school year soon. Please watch for an email in the coming days from Mr. Clark with information regarding how to complete your re-enrollment.
Parent prayer time is a great way to get involved.
One of the most important things we can do for our community at any time is to cover it with prayer. A group of WCA parents meets once a week to do just that - pray for our students, faculty, staff and families.
All Westminster parents are invited to join together in the Administrative Building Conference Room from 7:35 am to 7:55 am on Thursday mornings beginning on January 12th for the new year. Can't make it every week? Then please come whenever your schedule allows. Your presence will be greatly appreciated!
Lunch Bunch & After School
We are happy to be able to offer our extended day programs to our parents who need additional childcare. LunchBunch (pre-k and half-day kindergarten) begins at noon and ends at 2:45, and AfterSchool (all lower school) begins at 2:45 with pick-up at 5:15 pm.
Extended Care Reminders:
- Please remember that pre-registration (see process below) is needed for extended day programs.
- There are a limited number of spaces available for each day. If you haven't pre-registered, and we reach our maximum number of students, your child will be unable to stay.
- Additionally, please remember that a student in extended care may only be signed out by someone who is of driving age or older.
- **Emergency contact form must be completed and returned before a child can stay for LunchBunch or AfterSchool. Please follow this link for the form.**
- Charges of $15 per day per session will be billed to your FACTS account on a monthly basis on the 15th of the month for the previous month.
- Please know that effective immediately, there will be a $10 fee for all late pickups.
- Pick-up time is by 5:15 pm. Thank you for your understanding and assistance.
How do I sign up?
- Click the link: Lunch Bunch & After School Registration
- Click the date your child will need to attend. If your child will attend every day of the month, or the same days each week, you may select "repeats" and choose daily or weekly. If Lunch Bunch or After School reach max capacity, you will see a red message that says "FULL" on the day.
- Click on the "Calendar" box and select “LB/AS SIGN UP”
- Type student name(s) into the "Who" box
- Type LB for Lunch Bunch, AS for After School or LB/AS for both

Please be in prayer for Konda Johnson and her family - Brian, Hollan (WCA 2019), and Grace (WCA 11th) - as they continue on the journey of conquering Konda's cancer. Below is an update on her treatment from Honda:
My recent scans showed no additional cancer growth!!! I have another scan in 6-8 weeks for followup off on the success of Proton radiation. Thank you all for your prayers and support!
