Boonli.com Deadline TONIGHT for September Lunch Orders

Don't forget that tonight at midnight is the deadline for ordering lunches for September.

If you have an existing Boonli.com account, your log-in will remain the same.  Please note, existing account holders have to update profiles for each student before you can see the menus.

If you are new to the WCA community, or if this is your first time placing an order, please follow these steps:

  • Go to Boonli.com
  • Click the link to "Register" at the top of the page
  • Enter the password for our school - WCA319
  • Follow prompts to complete your registration including profiles for each of your students.
  • Order lunches for each student. (lunches are ordered by the month in advance)
  • Be sure to go to checkout and pay after you've made your selections.  Your order is not placed until it's paid for!

If you have any questions about this process, please contact Tami Butts -  tbutts@wcalions.org.

New Moms' Coffee

Is this your first year at Westminster?  Then you are invited to join us for our New Moms' Coffee tomorrow morning - Thursday, August 27th.  This time of fellowship will be held from 8 -9 am in the upper school gymnasium.

So, after you get your student(s) settled, stop by to enjoy a cup of coffee, conversation and a delicious treat!

School Picture Day

Monday, August 31st, will be school picture day at WCA.  All students PreK through 11th will have individual pictures taken.  Class pictures will be postponed until second semester.  Order forms will be sent home in LS weekly folders, and they will be available in the US office.

If you have any questions, contact Tollie Ediger (tediger@wcalions.org).

WCA Spirit Wear Online

You can now purchase unique WCA spirit wear online.  Follow this link - WCA Spirit Store - to find items and sizes that are different from what we stock in our school store.  Please know that all sales are final on decorated/personalized items.

Lunch Volunteer

Looking for a way to volunteer and be involved in the school day?  Then you might consider helping with our lunch program.  We just need one more lunch volunteer for the 2020-2021 school year.  If you are available on Mondays from 11:00 - 12:15, please contact Tollie Ediger.  Mondays are Chick-fil A days, and you would have an experienced lunch partner.  If you can only commit for a semester, then that is fine, too.

Show us your colors!

Who do you love to cheer for?  Especially during this crazy year, we'll be excited to cheer on our favorite team!

Next Friday, September 4th, we celebrate the coming kick-off of college football season with our annual College Colors Day. All members of the student body (preK - 12) are encouraged to show us your college team colors.  Please know that college colors clothing should follow Casual Friday or Spirit Wear Day guidelines.

Weekly Parents Time of Prayer

All WCA Parents are invited to join in a time of prayer on Thursday mornings, right before the school day begins.  This is an opportunity for us to come together to pray for our families, school, and country.

This time of prayer will be held each Thursday morning beginning September 10th, in the tech lab located in the Administrative building, from 7:25 until 7:50.  If you can only come one time - that's great!  Every other week - perfect!  Once a month - yes!  Everyone is welcome.  Please join us!

One Act Team Auditions

One Act Auditions are next Tuesday!  Please see Mrs. Cole for more information if you were not at the informational meeting this week.

PSAT @ WCA

We will be administering the PSAT for 8th - 11th grade students on October, 29th.  This is a new date due to changes by the College Board.

Please let Mrs. Cole know (kcole@wcalions.org) IF YOU DO NOT WANT your child to test by September 9th.  Testing will follow social distancing guidelines set by Westminster and be on the Westminster campus.  Thursday, October 29th is an early release day. Cost for testing is $15 for 8th and 9th grade students and $20 for 10th and 11th grade students.
