One Last Time!  Boonli.com Open for May Lunch Orders

Believe it or not, for the last time this year, it's time to place your lunch orders!  Boonli.com is now open for May lunch orders with a deadline of next Wednesday, April 28th, at midnight.  

Be sure to check out what's new for this month  - Brett's Monte Christo Sandwich with either fruit or chips.

If you have an existing Boonli.com account, your log-in will remain the same.  Please note, existing account holders have to update profiles for each student before you can see the menus.  If you are new to the WCA community, or if this is your first time placing an order, please follow these steps:

  • Go to Boonli.com
  • Click the link to "Log In" at the top of the page
  • Enter the password for our school - WCA319
  • Follow prompts to complete your registration including profiles for each of your students. 
  • Order lunches for each student. (lunches are ordered by the month in advance)
  • Be sure to go to checkout and pay after you've made your selections.  Your order is not placed until it's paid for!

2021 Best of the Best - Nominate WCA Today

It's the time of year when area residents nominate and vote for their favorite local businesses to be honored on the Athens BannerHerald Best of Athens listing.  We'd like your help to be sure WCA is nominated in the Private School category.  Just follow this link to go to the Athens BannerHerald website, scroll down to the "People and Places" link to find the private school nomination form.  The deadline to nominate is this Friday, April 23rd.  Once enough nominations are made, WCA will be eligible to receive votes in this category.  Thanks for your help and showing your Lion pride!

Let the games begin!

WCA students are ready to compete in this Friday's annual Field Day celebration!  They know what teams they're on, they have their t-shirts, and they're planning their team spirit outfits.

Here are a few reminders to make sure the day runs smoothly:

  • Students should arrive as usual and report to their classroom.
  • Early Release:  Field Day is an early release day for all students.  Here's what you need to know:
    • PreK and Kindergarten - early release at 11:30 am
    • 1st Grade through 12th Grade - early release at 12:15 pm
  • The AfterSchool program will be available after field day.  Parents should sign-up using the regular calendar/registration link.
  • Volunteers:  Thank you to all who have signed up to help with field day.  Volunteers are requested to be in the gym by 7:45 am as we kick off the days activities.  

The SAT @ WCA ~ April 27

All 10th and 11th grade students taking the SAT test at Westminster on Tuesday, April 27th will need to report to their testing room at 7:45am on Tuesday.  Students will leave campus after they test that day.  I will send an email with approximate pick up time before next week.  Students should bring #2 pencils, calculators, and a snack.  Please contact Kelly Cole with any questions.

West Point Virtual STEM Camps

West Point Military Academy is conducting the STEM camps virtually this year.  This gives our students convenient access to an amazing opportunity.  For the Summer 2021 camps, the sign-up period has been extended until May 1st for interested students.

Lunch Bunch & After School Sign-Up

Parents needing to send their student(s) to LunchBunch and/or AfterSchool, please remember that you need to pre-register by following the directions outlined below:

  • Click the link: Lunch Bunch & After School Registration
  • Click the date your child will need to attend. If your child will attend every day of the month, or the same days each week, you may select "repeats" and choose daily or weekly. If Lunch Bunch or After School reach max capacity, you will see a red message that says "FULL" on the day. 
  • Click on the "Calendar" box and select "LB/AS SIGN UP" 
  • Type student name(s) into the "Who" box
  • Type LB for Lunch Bunch, AS for After School or LB/AS for both
