Caps for Cure Fundraiser Next Week

Next Monday, September 21st, is the first day you can donate to don your head with your favorite cap!  September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and that means it's time for our Caps for a Cure fundraiser!

Caps for CURE is a school-wide event benefiting CURE Childhood Cancer, a non-profit organization dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through targeted research while supporting patients and their families.

Our Caps for CURE fundraiser will be the week of September 21st through the 25th.  How can you participate?

  • All WCA students may pay $5 for the week and wear a hat each day.
  • Wearing a cap not your thing?  Then please consider making a donation.  All donations of any size are appreciated whether you choose to wear a cap or not.

So grab your favorite cap and empty your piggy bank to raise money for this important cause!

Missing anything?

Unbelievably we've been in school five weeks but that's enough time for the lost and found bins to be overflowing!

Items from lost and found are displayed on tables in the gym this week.  Please take the opportunity to claim anything that belongs to your household.

Items will be on display through end of the school day on Friday.  At that time, any unclaimed items will be donated.

Thank you for your help!
