WCA Team Finishes as State Champions in Math
Congratulations to the new State Champions in Math! Team Members Aron Bauer, Widener Norris, Carlos Madrid and Samuel Snyder competed in the state high school math bowl and finished as champions. Each team member also competed individually and Aron Bauer placed 2nd, and Widener Norris 3rd, in the state competition overall.
The History Bowl Team finished the day as state runners-up. Team members Walker Allen, James Dickerson, John Donatelli, and John Nesbit competed in several close matches but lost in the semi-final round. Noteworthy is the fact that our team beat the state champions earlier in the day. Congratulations to both teams for their outstanding results!
Thanksgiving Break
Westminster will be closed next week, November 23rd - 27th for the Thanksgiving holiday. The school will resume normal operations on Monday, November 30th.
May this week be a time of gratitude as you celebrate!
December Lunch Order Deadline Tonight
Don't forget to place your orders for December lunches today! The deadline for placing orders is tonight at midnight.
If you have an existing Boonli.com account, your log-in will remain the same. Please note, existing account holders have to update profiles for each student before you can see the menus.
If you are new to the WCA community, or if this is your first time placing an order, please follow these steps:
- Go to Boonli.com
- Click the link to "Log In" at the top of the page
- Enter the password for our school - WCA319
- Follow prompts to complete your registration including profiles for each of your students.
- Order lunches for each student. (lunches are ordered by the month in advance)
- Be sure to go to checkout and pay after you've made your selections. Your order is not placed until it's paid for!

It's shoebox time! Donations Due This Week
If getting your Operation Christmas Child shoebox ready is still on your "to-do" list, it's not too late! You have until this Friday, November 20th, to turn in your shoebox.
Since we will not be able to hold our traditional packing day this year, there are two options available for our families to still be able to participate in this wonderful ministry.
Option 1 - Pack a shoebox (any kind will work) at home & bring to WCA the week of November 16th.

Pre-Break Lost & Found
With the approach of Thanksgiving Break, we are cleaning out the Lost and Found bin in the gym. Items from the bin are currently displayed on tables in the gym. Please feel free to stop by at your convenience to see if any of the items belong to your family. After lunch on Thursday, November 19, unclaimed items will be cleared away. (We need to get the gym ready for the home middle school basketball games that day.)
An Early Look at 1st Semester Final Exams
The first semester final exams for upper school students (grades 6–12) are scheduled for December 16th — 18th.
For planning purposes, please know that upper school students will be dismissed early all three days. The purpose of early dismissal is to provide an opportunity for students to meet with teachers should they have questions or would like additional help prior to the exam.

Lunch Bunch & After School Sign-Up
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, parents are asked to register for Lunch Bunch and After School a week in advance by following the link and instructions below.
- Click the link: Lunch Bunch & After School Registration
- Click the date your child will need to attend. If your child will attend every day of the month, or the same days each week, you may select "repeats" and choose daily or weekly. If Lunch Bunch or After School reach max capacity, you will see a red message that says "FULL" on the day.
- Click on the "Calendar" box and select "LB/AS SIGN UP"
- Type student name(s) into the "Who" box
- Type LB for Lunch Bunch, AS for After School or LB/AS for Both
