2022-2023 All State - All Region Athletes

As our school year has come to a close, we want to take this opportunity to honor our 2022-2023 All State and All Region athletes.  This is an amazing accomplishment for our student athletes who excel in the classroom and in their chosen sports.  Please follow this link to view the WCA students who received these honors.

Congratulations to all!

Summertime Office Hours

Westminster school and administrative offices will be open Monday through Thursday from 8 am until noon during the summer weeks.  All offices will be closed the week of July 3rd - 7th and will re-open on Monday, July 10th.

WCA Library Hours

We are excited that our library will be open on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 am until 11:00 am  beginning June 15th and going through July 26th, except for July 5th.  We hope that you'll take advantage of this opportunity to check out reading materials from our amazing and growing collection!

Summer Reading, Math & Course Prep

We all need a little break from the routine, but summer work helps to keep students engaged and their skills sharp.  With that in mind, the WCA website has been updated with reading, math and applicable course prep. Lists by grade can be found under the parents tab of the WCA website or by following this link.

Find it under the "Parents" Tab

The "Parents" tab on the WCA website, WCALions.org, is the central place to find much of the information that you, as a WCA parent, need to know.

In addition to summer reading lists, you may also find summer course prep information for AP and dual enrollment classes, a copy of the WCA student handbook and uniform guidelines.  And for those of you who like to plan ahead, the class supply lists for 2023 - 2024 are also posted.  For the rest of us, there's a bit of summer first!

Upper School Technology

Thinking ahead for the fall.

Westminster requires all 8th through 12th grade students to have a personal laptop each day.  The goal is to give students the opportunity to learn how to utilize technology appropriately and effectively while enhancing their education experience.  Please follow this link to learn more and access upper school technology requirements.

License to drive this summer?

Do you have teenager who will be getting either their learner's permit or driver's license over the summer?  If so, you will need a certification of enrollment to complete the process.  To get an enrollment certification, please contact Laura Boswell - 706-769-9372 or office@wcalions.org.  Due to summer office hours, be sure to plan for additional time to get the necessary form.
