Walk Through Westminster Dates
Know families who may want more information about our wonderful school? Re-Enrollment: DUE THIS FRIDAY
Re-Enrollment for the 2015-2016 academic year is open for current Westminster families from Jan. 20 – Jan. 30, 2015. The regular re-enrollment fees are $175 per student ($450 maximum per family). Families turning in the re-enrollment forms before January 30, 2015 will receive discounted re-enrollment fees of $75 per student ($200 maximum per family). Enrollment will open to new families on February 1, 2015 and seats in each class will be filled as space allows. Instructions for completing your re-enrollment for the 2015-2016 school year are detailed here and, as always, feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Monday Madness – 4 HOME Basketball Games
Come out and support our LIONS this Monday night! Both the Middle School boys and girls will take on Bethlehem, and following that the Varsity boys and girls will go up against Horizon! Join us for great food, fun and excitement.  The Lower School class with the highest attendance receives a pizza party!  Click here for all the great details!

WCA to Host GICAA Regional Basketball Tournament – Help Needed
We are thrilled to host the GICAA Regional Basketball Tournament Tuesday, Feb. 10 and Thursday, Feb. 12.  There are several areas where help is needed to make this a success.  If you are able to help with any of the following, please contact Athletic Director Bob Jenkins at bjenkins@wcalions.org.

1 Gate workers (collect the money)
1 Reader of the GICAA Sportsmanship Statement before the game
1 Pray before the game
1 Announcer of team players
2 Concession workers
2 Greeters to direct the teams
2 Hospitality Host for Coaches and Referees
2 Official score book keeper for each team (Tollie) “need one more”

Valentine Carnations and Lollipops for Sale
Carnations and lollipops are on sale now!!  $2.00 for one carnation, $1.00 for a bundle of three lollipops!  Send a valentine to your son or daughter f0r Valentine’s Day! Valentines will be passed out Thursday, Feb. 12. Forms are in the office.  Sales benefit the school yearbook!

Parent Prayer Time

Coffee Sale Success
Thanks to all who purchased Westminster’s custom Jittery Joes’ coffee! Thanks to your support, we sold 187 cans of coffee with 100% of proceeds benefiting Westminster!

WCA Student Art Exhibit at Jittery Joes
Artwork from 19 Westminster students is currently on display at the Jittery Joes off Epps Bridge Parkway. There will be a reception for the art exhibit Monday, Feb. 9 from 7 – 9:00p.m.  Please come out and enjoy drink specials and potentially musical entertainment from some of our talented WCA students.

Long-Term Substitute Needed
We are searching for a qualified substitute to serve on a long-term basis starting April 1, 2014 until the end of the school year.  This sub will oversee the science classes of Alisa Ware who is scheduled to be out on maternity leave starting April 1.  If you or someone you know is interested in this and able to commit to the time frame, please contact Kelly Cole at kcole@wcalions.org.

PUBLIX PARTNER PROGRAM We all have to buy groceries, right?  Well, did you know that when you shop at Publix, and swipe your Publix card, Publix credits our school’s account and awards our school with $250 for every $37,500 spent each quarter?  That is free money to Westminster, just because you have to feed your family.  If you do not have a Publix card, please stop by either school office, pick one up, place it on your key ring, and start swiping!
