Miss T!

FullSizeRender(12)The lower school kids received a treat this week when our very own, Miss T (Howard Janitorial Services) greeted them in the library for reading time.  The kids loved being with “Aunt Samantha” for story time.  Thank you Miss T for the fun!  You’re the best!

Upper School Honors Nights

In the Upper School, we have two academic recognition programs ~ one for the high school and one for the middle school. The dates are as follows:

  • High School Honors Night ~ Monday, May 16th at 6:30 pm
  • Middle School Honors Night ~ Tuesday, May 24th at 6:30 pm

These events are the high point of our academic recognition for the year. In addition to some of our more prestigious awards such as the Westminster Cup, Student Council Service Award, Capstone Award, Horatius Award and the Veritas Award, each teacher will recognize the students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in his/her respective classes. In other words, this is not merely a different version of an Honor Roll Breakfast. It is a very special evening.

Invitations have been emailed to the high school parents of award recipients. If you received an invitation, please make every effort to attend. Parents of middle school recipients will receive invitations in the coming weeks. If you have any questions, please contact Tollie Ediger. (tediger@wcalions.org)
