Sarah Cole pictured with DAR representative.

Westminster’s Sarah Cole was recognized Sunday as the Daughter of the American Revolution essay winner for Oconee County.  Miss Cole competed among the four other high schools in Oconee County for the award given by the Reverend John Andrew Chapter of the DAR.  Each student is given two hours to write on an assigned topic using no resources to assist them.  A link to her winning essay is here.  This represents the second year in a row that a WCA student has received this honor.  Congratulations Sarah!
