As the body of Christ, we have the privilege of praying for each other. If you have a prayer request that you would like to have included here, please contact Tami Butts, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please pray for the Needham family (sixth grader Linley) as Linley’s three year old brother Beck was diagnosed with pre-B cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia last week. Mother Susanna is in Atlanta at Scottish Rite with Beck as he begins the first intensive months of chemotherapy treatment. According to his physicians, Beck’s long-term prognosis is excellent. For those of you who don’t know their history, this family tragically lost their daughter, Piper, at the tender age of two and a half to leukemia.
For other known prayer requests, the families have set up blogs that you can follow to keep up to date. As you read the blogs, there is much to pray for and much for which to be thankful.
- Westminster student Hodge Rivers (K) is undergoing treatment for Hodgkins Lymphoma. You can follow Hodge’s journey at his caring bridge site, caringbridge.org/hodgerivers.
- Please be in prayer for Brent Weatherly and his family. He has started a blog where you can follow his journey and receive specific prayer requests. http://dbw26.wordpress.com.
- Thank you for your continued prayers for Hannie Lanclos and her family as she continues her path of healing. She is a daily testimony to God’s goodness!
Thank you for lifting these members of our WCA family to the Great Physician.
