Prayer Requests

As the body of Christ, we have the privilege of praying for each other. If you have a prayer request that you would like to have included here, please contact Tami Butts,

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of former WCA student, Megan Twist.  Megan was involved in an accident and passed away Monday evening.

There are members of our community in need of our faithful prayer support.  These families have set up blogs that you can follow to keep up to date.  As you read the blogs, there is much to pray for and much for which to be thankful.

  • For updates and specific prayer requests for the Needham family (Linley 6th), please read Susanna Needham’s blog to follow their families journey as 3 yr. old, Beck, is undergoing treatment for leukemia.  For questions, or to address immediate needs, please contact Julie Tomlin (
  • Westminster student Hodge Rivers (K) is undergoing treatment for Hodgkins Lymphoma. You can follow Hodge’s journey at his caring bridge site,
  • Please be in prayer for Brent Weatherly and his family. He has started a blog where you can follow his journey and receive specific prayer requests.
  • Thank you for your continued prayers for Hannie Lanclos and her family as she continues her path of healing. She is a daily testimony to God’s goodness!

Thank you for lifting up these members of our WCA family.

Prayer requests are included here at the request, or with the permission, of the family.
