Five of Westminster’s fifth grade students attended the County 4-H DPA competition this past weekend, Saturday, Feb. 15 at Rock Eagle, and returned with first place ribbons.

Each of Westminster’s students received first place for his or her topic and/or demonstration.

– Aron Bauer – Topic on Paleontology

– Kassidy Daniel – Demonstration on fingerprints

– Morgan Green – Demonstration about horses

– Addie Rose McNeal – Demonstration on dolphin training

– James Stephen Tomlin – Recipe for In Between snacks

These students now have the opportunity to participate in the district competition. Westminster, along with other participating Oconee County schools won the district award for the highest percentage of winners, with over 90 percent.
