Westminste​r’s Robotics Team One of BEST in District

Saturday, Oct. 29, Westminster Christian Academy’s Robotics team, lead by AP Math teacher and Head librarian Sandra Stowe, competed in the BEST (Boosting Engineering Science and Technology) Robotics District Competition where they placed sixth out of 25 teams.   Considering all other teams competing were much larger than Westminster’s, the team was elated with its success.   Continue Reading »

Blood Drive Exceeds Expectations

During school-wide blood drive sponsored by the National Honor Society Tuesday, Oct. 25, Westminster collected 53 units of blood for the Red Cross which set the school’s goal at only 48 units. 1,352 Canned Goods Collected for ACTS

Westminster’s girls volleyball team held a school-wide canned food drive in an effort to stock the ACTS Food Bank.  On Friday, Oct. 7 the team, along with its coach, Lisa Fish and several Westminster parents, delivered 1,352 cans of food to ACTS.  With only 164 families at Westminster and 268 students, Westminster averaged about eight cans  Continue Reading »

Lady Lions To Play for State Title
