Following several unforced turnovers, that allowed the game to get out of hand early, the Lady Lions varsity basketball team lost to Heritage last night, 43 – 21.

The Lady Lions stayed “pawsitive”, never gave up and battled the entire game.  Laura Scott Tomlin led the team with eight points and seven rebounds. Rayne Pyfrom added seven pts and snagged 12 rebounds.

Coach Allan Bailey praised the team, “We took away several positive things from this game and these girls are always trying to get better.”

Westminster’s next game will be an away game against Monsignor Donovan Friday, Dec. 14. Lady Lions move to 3-3 overall, and 2-1 in region.
