Westminster Christian Academy collected 152 gift-filled shoeboxes for the 2013 Samaritan’s Purse “Operation Christmas Child”. The boxes were loaded in a van and delivered to the Athens collection center, to go by semi-truck to Atlanta, and will then be distributed in nearly 150 countries. Congratulations to Westminster’s One Act Play team which won the State competition Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013. Under the direction of Drama teacher Joelle Dunham, the One Act Play received the program’s first state title with its performance of “The Good Doctor”. “This is an amazing and talented group of students,” said Dunham following the win. Congratulations to Westminster’s One Act Play team which competed Thursday, Oct. 24 and won the Regional Championship with its performance of, “The Good Doctor.” Individual Outstanding Actor awards were also received by four Lions: Daniel Lanclos, Josh Russell, Jami Dillard and Sarah Cole.
