As students move through the Grammar Years of classical education, they become more and more curious about the world around them. An education that focuses on “learning to learn” and incorporates a biblical worldview approach recognizes that life is a series discoveries and our world was created by God.

A students’ educational progression through grades 1-5 affords experiences in art class, music class, Latin class, library time, and physical education. Class time in each of these areas contributes to the whole development of the student as each subject becomes part of the overall curriculum. In addition, students begin to understand and appreciate that events in history and the Bible are related. A timeline approach to these studies further develops an appreciation for history and prepares students for the “logic years” in middle school.

Students in grades 1-5 attend weekly Chapel.
